SAN ANTONIO - Some new changes are coming to Bexar County in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bexar County officials are working right now to help local small businesses that are suffering because of social distancing precautions against the coronavirus.
Bexar County Commissioner Justin Rodriguez announced that the county will be offering $5 million in interest free loans and $250,000 in grants to help businesses which are struggling with payroll.
Rodriguez said the loans would be 0% interest and there would be a four-month grace period before payments would begin. The details are still being worked out and should be finalized in the coming days.
